Dr. Felix Frueh is Founder and Executive Partner at Opus Three, a regulatory consulting organization located in San Diego. He also spent several years at the US Food and Drug Administration as Associate Director for Genomics and played a key role in the early development of policies involving companion diagnostics, biomarker qualification, and personalized medicine. Dr. Frueh is also Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer of Selva Therapeutics, a San Diego-based pharmaceutical company. He was Chief Scientific Officer at Human Longevity and was President of the Medco Research Institute, leading the pharmacy benefit manager’s clinical research initiatives in health economics and outcomes research. Dr. Frueh serves on the boards of several pharma and diagnostic companies. He is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and held faculty positions at Georgetown University and at the University of North Carolina. He received his education at Stanford University and the University of Basel in Switzerland, where he graduated magna cum laude in biochemistry.
